The First Annual UUI 'Sermon' writing contest is intended to provide incentive for authors to write inspirational presentations that celebrate secular humanity. The contest will be judged by three panelists combining 60 years of writing and editing experience, all of whom are UU Infidels. The panel will be chaired by a PhD in the English language. Submissions will be graded on whether the content advances rational thought and Human inspiration as well as effective use of the English language.

A readers fee of $5.00 must be sent with your submission payable to UUI.

Cash prizes will be awarded. $500 for first place, $300 for second place and $200 for third place. Winner will be published in the fall edition of this newsletter. Top five entries will be posted to the UU-Infidels website.
